Since 2007, Sam has been the backbone of our quality control. Drawing on his military experience, he ensures our team maintains the highest standards of care and efficiency. Known for his tireless work ethic and great sense of humor, Sam turns the challenges of moving into a positive experience for every family he serves. At home, he treasures every moment spent with his family.

Roger Baker - General Manager

Roger’s journey at Kearney Moving began in 2009, working his way from crewman to CDL driver before entering leadership. After serving as an Associate Pastor at Cornerstone Berean Church from 2019 to 2025, he returned as our General Manager, bringing a unique blend of operational expertise and a pastor’s heart for counseling. A dedicated leader with a growth mindset, Roger is passionate about encouraging our team and providing empathetic service to every customer. When he isn’t coordinating logistics, he treasures quality time with his wife and their seven children.

Kellie Whitcomb - Customer Service

Kellie has been a cornerstone of the Kearney Moving team since 2018. With more than two decades of industry expertise, she specializes in crafting accurate estimates and guiding our clients through every detail of their transition. Kellie’s vibrant personality and genuine heart for service have a way of turning a stressful moving day into a seamless experience. Outside of the office, she finds her greatest joy in making memories with her children and grandchildren.​

Braden Miller - Customer Service

Braden has been part of Kearney Moving for over three years and demonstrates versatility by wearing many hats—public relations, surveying homes, creating estimates, coordinating details, and even leading crews on moving day. His goal is to make every step simple, clear, and stress-free for our customers. When he’s not helping families relocate, he stays active with his wife—from casual strolls to mountain hikes.

Dan is a former co-owner of Kearney Moving with over 20 years in the moving industry.  In his spare time, Dan enjoys restoring classic cars and visiting his grand kids.  Our customers regularly comment on how much they enjoy Dan's knowledgeable and easy going personality.

Justin Halbgewachs - Former Owner
(In Remembrance)

In 1996 a passion to serve people founded upon a deep faith in Jesus Christ would lead entrepreneur and accomplished musician, Justin Halbgewachs, to start Kearney Moving Service. While growing his business Justin also served his wife Julie of 20 years and their three children well. Julie would pass away in 2016 after a courageous battle with breast cancer.  In 2018, while valiantly fighting his own battle with brain cancer, Justin would marry Cherie, a mother of two who had served her husband of 26 years well through colon cancer. Tye's battle ended in 2016 with his homegoing 8 months prior to Julie's. In 2020, just 22 months into his marriage to Cherie, Justin joined Julie, Tye and his beloved Jesus in heaven. While Justin is very much missed, Kearney Moving Services continues on in the faith that it was founded upon and his passion to serve people continues to be our mission.
